ever have those days where you’re just so overwhelmed with all the things that you have to do, that you don’t do any of them and then get more behind and you just eventually break down and just have to step away from the whole situation?
I find myself in these types of situations more often than not, and I get so worried about what’s going to happen and the effect it’s going to have on ME and all these things that are centered around MYSELF that I just get covered in the pettisome worries.
everytime this happens though, I take a step back and calm myself down. I go to a place where I can see how big my God is compared to my petty problems. I take a look up at the night sky or I go to a big lake and physically show myself how small I am in comparison to these incredibly large things.
it calms me down especially if I’m freaking out about a test, or a grade, or if someone’s text meant more than what it seemed, or really anything. because in the vast scheme of things, it’s not the end of the world.
if you get the chance to take a break today or sometime so, I HIGHLY recommend that you watch Louie Gigilio’s “How Great Is Our God” Video. [below]
It will literally blow your mind so much that you’re going to have to pick up the pieces off of the wall behind you. I don’t care what you’re into, who you believe in, or how you think the earth was created. take the time and watch this. I’ve probably seen this video at least 10 times, and I still will watch it over and over again just to remind myself how big my God is. but if you don’t have the time right now, don’t fret.
this other video came up on my newsfeed the other day, and I think this is another great way to see how big our universe is. and it has some good points as well.
take the time and watch one of these videos. you won’t regret it.
